Senior Quantity Surveyor - All Trades

About Us:
We are a leading preconstruction firm specializing in providing building costs. We pride ourselves on delivering accurate and timely takeoffs and estimates that help our clients succeed in competitive construction markets. We are open to training professionals with extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor in All Trades, and we will provide training and access to On-Screen Takeoff software for successful candidates with extensive experience in quantity takeoff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Quantity Takeoffs: Perform detailed and accurate takeoffs for construction trades, utilizing On-Screen Takeoff (training provided if needed). Preferred experience with concrete and masonry.
• Plan Review: Strong ability to review and interpret drawings across all trades, ensuring precision and accuracy in takeoffs.
• Decision-Making: Identify missing details, ask questions, and make well-informed decisions based on industry knowledge.
• Data Accuracy: Ensure all quantity calculations are precise and complete.
• Documentation: Prepare and submit detailed takeoff reports, including summaries in Excel and annotated PDFs.
• Collaboration: Communicate with project managers to clarify project scope and address potential issues.

Required Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably across multiple trades.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with On-Screen Takeoff, Excel, and PDF markup tools. Willingness to be trained in On-Screen Takeoff if not yet proficient.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in measurements and calculations.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot inconsistencies in plans and communicate effectively.


Availability:
• Must be able to work during EST or US Business Hours.
