Job Title: Business Development Manager
Department: Sales and Business Development
Reports To: VP of Sales
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives and drive revenue. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 5 years in sales, with real-world experience in selling products or services and successfully managing a high-performing team. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication, and strong leadership skills to expand our client base and develop lasting business relationships. Accent is very minimal.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Growth:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
Team Management:
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed targets.
Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to tea
Foster a collaborative and motivated team culture focused on results.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Develop pricing strategies and proposals that align with business objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product) to align sales strategies with organizational goals.
Reporting and Metrics:
Prepare and deliver regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to leadership.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met.
Recommend improvements to sales processes and strategies based on data-driven insights.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing and motivating a sales team.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to analyze data and craft actionable strategies.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
