As an Amazon PPC Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing PPC campaigns on Amazon. You will work closely with the marketing team to drive traffic, increase conversions, and optimize ad spend to improve ROI. Your role will focus on creating data-driven strategies to boost product visibility, enhance performance metrics, and contribute to the overall growth of the Amazon business.
Key Responsibilities:
PPC Campaign Management:
Create, manage, and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and other ad types.
Develop keyword strategies for campaigns, conduct extensive keyword research, and continually refine targeting to maximize ad performance.
Optimize bids, budgets, and targeting to drive traffic while maintaining cost-efficiency and profitability.
Ad Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze ad performance metrics such as ACOS (Advertising Cost of Sale), ROAS (Return on Advertising Spend), CTR (Click-Through Rate), and conversion rates.
Regularly assess the effectiveness of PPC campaigns and adjust strategies to ensure KPIs are met.
Provide regular, detailed reports on campaign performance, insights, and actionable recommendations to management.
A/B Testing & Experimentation:
Conduct A/B testing for ad creatives, keywords, and targeting strategies to find the most effective approach for driving sales.
Test new advertising features on Amazon to stay ahead of trends and continuously improve campaign outcomes.
Bid & Budget Management:
Adjust bids and budgets for campaigns based on performance data, seasonal trends, and business priorities.
Allocate advertising spend across different products and campaigns to achieve the highest possible return on investment.
Keyword Research & Optimization:
Perform regular keyword research to identify new opportunities and optimize existing campaigns for better results.
Use tools like Amazon's Keyword Planner, Helium 10, or Jungle Scout to identify high-performing keywords and trends.
Competitor & Market Analysis:
Monitor competitor campaigns, identify trends, and leverage insights to stay competitive in the Amazon marketplace.
Keep up with the latest Amazon advertising trends, best practices, and platform updates.
Collaboration & Strategy Development:
Collaborate with other teams, including product management, content, and design, to align PPC campaigns with product launches and promotions.
Contribute to the overall marketing strategy and provide insights on how to improve brand visibility and sales on Amazon.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Amazon PPC Specialist or in a similar role managing Amazon advertising campaigns.
Deep knowledge of Amazon advertising platforms (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, etc.).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Experience with Amazon Seller Central and Amazon Advertising Console.
Familiarity with PPC tools and software (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or Amazon's Campaign Manager).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present campaign results and recommendations clearly.
Strong attention to detail and ability to optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with advanced Amazon PPC strategies like targeting through product targeting, dynamic bidding, and negative keyword optimization.
A background in e-commerce marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
Knowledge of Amazon’s A9 algorithm and its influence on PPC campaigns.
Certifications in digital marketing or Amazon advertising.
