About Us:
We are a growing daycare organization dedicated to providing high-quality education and care for children. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a Data Specialist to help centralize our data systems, connect various data sources, and create an automated reporting system to streamline our decision-making process.
Role Overview:
As the Data Specialist, you will be responsible for integrating data from multiple sources into a centralized Google Looker Studio dashboard. You will create efficient processes to collect, analyze, and report on key metrics daily. This role is critical to ensuring the daycare operates efficiently and achieves its growth goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Connect data from multiple sources (e.g., Google Sheets, daycare management software, HR systems, marketing platforms) into Google Looker Studio.
Design and implement a centralized dashboard that tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) such as enrollment, financial metrics, staff performance, parent satisfaction, and marketing metrics.
Automate data collection and entry processes to minimize manual input.
Create and maintain structured spreadsheets for data input and storage.
Generate and distribute daily reports to stakeholders summarizing key insights and trends.
Collaborate with various teams (operations, marketing, HR) to understand data needs and ensure all required metrics are captured.
Troubleshoot and resolve any data integration or reporting issues.
Provide training and documentation to tea
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in data management, integration, and reporting (minimum 2-3 years).
Proficiency with Google Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) and Google Sheets.
Experience with APIs and data connectors (e.g., Zapier, Supermetrics, or similar tools).
Strong knowledge of creating automated workflows and reports.
Advanced skills in spreadsheet creation and management.
Familiarity with daycare operations or education-related KPIs is a plus.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical tea
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive data securely.
