About Us
Direct Connection Advertising & Marketing is a full-service, integrated advertising and marketing firm based in Fairfield, CA that specializes in providing services for property and casualty wholesale insurance brokers and other insurance entities.

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in content creation, email marketing, and social media management, with a strong focus on developing and executing marketing campaigns that engage audiences and drive results. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple channels and teams.

This is a part time position to start, with the possibility of becoming full time.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
• Develop and write engaging content, including blog posts, articles, and other digital assets, tailored to the target audience.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and marketing objectives.
• Proofread and edit content meticulously to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality.

Email
Marketing
• Design, build, and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and maintain customer engagement.
• Manage and segment email lists to target audiences effectively and personalize campaigns.
• Monitor and analyze email performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, etc.) and suggest improvements to optimize campaigns.
Social Media Management
• Create and schedule content for social media platforms to build brand awareness and drive engagement.
• Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and opportunities to engage with the community.
• Track social media performance metrics and generate reports to assess effectiveness.
Collaboration and Communication
• Coordinate with graphic designers, content creators, and external vendors to produce high-quality marketing materials.
• Communicate campaign goals, progress, and results with account managers clearly and effectively.
• Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent delivery of marketing initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
• 3 years of experience in content creation
• Experience with email marketing and social media management
• Exceptional attention to detail with a proven ability to produce high-quality, error-free work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – can use AI, but we never use just AI.
• Proficiency in marketing tools such as email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact), social media scheduling tools, and content management systems (CMS).
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
• A creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and audience engagement.
