Job Type: Part-Time Start (15 hours per week start with opportunity for increased hours)
Working Hours: Between 8AM – 4PM, AEST. Monday – Friday.

As the business expands into the AI and digital space, we're looking for a highly experienced and proactive Merchandise & Graphic Design Specialist to assist our team.
This is a no-training-required role, ideal for a candidate who is experienced in brand design and promotional merchandise industry that can hit the ground running with minimal guidance.
Merchandise & Graphic Design Skills:
-Strong communication skills, including the ability to ask insightful questions and effectively engage with clients to ensure deliverables align with their requested scope and branding
-Bring valuable merchandise & promotional product industry knowledge and guidance to our team with exceptional skills in product recommendations and ability to identify ideal suppliers without assistance
-Prepare designs for print on promotional products, ensuring accuracy in file formats, branding, colour matching and print specifications
-Oversee and manage merchandise orders; coordinate operations and production, manage timelines based on production turnarounds, - communicate effectively with suppliers & clients, ensure deadlines are met
-Hold advanced and quality graphic design skills to complete design projects within scope & branding including custom sublimated shirts, social media assets, custom designs for promotional products etc
-Coordinate with our design support to assist you with design projects - communicating feedback effectively to meet quality standards and scopes
-Oversee and manage delivery of all design projects; coordinate proofs, Approvals, and client feedback to meet deadlines
Sales & Communications:
-Serve as one of the primary points of contact for Merchandise & Design solutions, communicating with clients, suppliers & partners
-Provide accurate and efficient customer quotes, demonstrating strong knowledge of product decoration techniques and pricing structures, including mark-ups
-Conduct regular check-ins with clients and suppliers via calls and
-Resolve client service complaints effectively, maintaining a high level of professionalism
-Manage accounts for design and merchandise clients, including regular client check-ins, prompt responses, and organising client files
Requirements:
-Professional confidence in phone calls &
-Proven experience in a similar role
-Experience with Hoops software for quoting, project management, and orders
-Strong knowledge and expertise in the Merchandise Industry
-Expert skills in using Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
-Experience with Xero or similar accounting software for invoicing
-Exceptional project management & organisational skills, with a focus on managing deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
-Ability to create detailed, accurate quotes and manage end-to-end order processes with suppliers
-A self-starter, ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
-Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on resolving client issues efficiently
-Strong knowledge of proprietary intellectual property and copyright policies, Ensuring all works comply with legal requirements
