SEO Expert – Social Media & Website Optimization
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven SEO Expert with expertise in both social media platforms and websites. This key role requires a dynamic professional who can enhance our online visibility and brand presence by optimizing content across all major social media channels and ensuring our website ranks prominently on search engines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving organic growth through innovative SEO strategies and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for Website:
1. Conduct comprehensive keyword research to inform website content strategies and improve rankings on Google and other search engines.
2. Optimize on-page elements (meta tags, headers, images, URLs) for better search engine indexing and performance.
3. Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies, including backlink building, guest blogging, and partnerships.
4. Monitor website traffic and performance data, providing actionable insights for improving search rankings.
5. Perform regular SEO audits to identify and resolve technical issues (e.g., broken links, slow loading speeds, crawl errors).
6. Stay up-to-date on algorithm changes and industry trends to ensure website SEO compliance and competitiveness.
Social Media Optimization (SMO):
1. Create and implement SEO-friendly social media content strategies across all social media platforms
2. Leverage trending keywords, hashtags, and current events to boost engagement and visibility on social platforms.
3. Analyze social media performance and adjust strategies to optimize reach, engagement, and audience growth.
4. Collaborate with content creators and design teams to ensure consistent messaging, branding, and SEO optimization across all social media channels.
5. Utilize social media platforms for backlinking opportunities and drive traffic to the website.
Content Collaboration & Optimization:
1. Work closely with content & marketing team to create SEO-optimized blog posts, landing pages, and website copy.
2. Provide guidance on keyword integration, content structure, and user intent alignment.
3. Suggest multimedia elements (videos, infographics, etc.) to enhance content effectiveness and engagement.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and social media analytics to track, analyze, and report on both website and social media performance.
Provide regular reports on SEO and SMO performance, including key achievements, ROI, and growth opportunities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience (5-10 years) as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role with a portfolio of successful projects.
Proficiency in SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.).
In-depth understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for optimization.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website CMS (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and provide actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
