Looking for an assistant with expertise in rapid credit repair to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting our clients' financial goals.
**Responsibilities:**
- Draft effective, professionally worded dispute letters to credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion) using compliant and proven language to challenge negative items.
- Monitor the status of disputes and follow up as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Utilize advanced strategies and methods to remove or reduce the impact of negative items, such as late payments, charge-offs, collections, and inquiries.
- Conduct detailed reviews of credit reports to identify errors, inconsistencies, or outdated information for dispute purposes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) guidelines.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation, explain processes, and provide progress updates.
- Maintain organized records of correspondence, client information, and dispute statuses.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience in credit repair, with demonstrated success in removing negative items quickly and effectively.
- Familiarity with the specific language and templates used in credit bureau dispute letters.
- Deep understanding of credit scoring models, credit reports, and dispute resolution processes.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including the FCRA and the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA).
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency with online credit repair tools and platforms is a plus.
**Preferred Skills:**
- Certification in credit repair or related fields is a plus but not required.
- Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
- Knowledge of advanced credit repair tactics, such as goodwill letters, pay-for-delete agreements, and early exclusion requests.
