Our company is seeking a Technical Product Manager with proven experience working with suppliers in the Far East, particularly in China. The role involves writing high-level technical product descriptions, managing direct relationships with suppliers, and possessing a deep understanding of the product manufacturing process, including elements of product improvement and optimization.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify areas for product improvement and work collaboratively with suppliers in the Far East to implement these improvements effectively.
Responsibilities:
Manage direct relationships with suppliers in the Far East, including negotiation, production coordination, and shipping management.
Write high-level technical product descriptions, with a focus on presenting deep solutions and product advantages.
Understand the product in depth and identify elements that require improvement to bring the product to a higher level.
Quality control and management of product improvement processes with factories in China.
Work in English with suppliers and managers.
Requirements:
At least five years of experience working with suppliers in the Far East, with a focus on China.
Deep technical understanding of industrial and technological products, with the ability to write high-level product descriptions.
Proven experience in supplier negotiations, production coordination, and improving manufacturing processes.
Very high proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
Experience in quality control and product improvement.
Additional Skills:
Creative thinking and proactive approach to improving processes and products.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build long-term relationships with suppliers.
Attention to detail and ability to work under strict deadlines.
Advantage:
Experience in industrial/technological industries or bringing products to international markets.
Additional knowledge of another Far East language (e.g., Chinese).
Location: Far East (Hybrid or remote work possible as needed).
