Data Engineer

About the Role:
We're seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure and pipelines. This role combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to ensure our data architecture supports business objectives.

Core Responsibilities"
Design and implement scalable data pipelines using modern ETL/ELT practices
Build and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure
Develop and optimize data models and database schemas
Create and maintain data quality frameworks
Implement data security and governance protocols
Orchestrate data workflows using tools like Azure Data Factory, Kubernetes, and Terraform
Optimize performance of data systems and pipelines
Work with real-time data processing and streaming technologies
Support machine learning initiatives through data engineering best practices

Required Technical Skills:
Advanced SQL expertise, including complex queries and stored procedures
Python programming for data manipulation and transformation
Experience with dbt or similar data transformation tools
Proficiency in Docker containerization and Kubernetes deployment
Cloud platform expertise (Azure/AWS/GCP) and associated data services
Experience with big data technologies (BigQuery, Spark)
Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and data training procedures
Experience with real-time data processing and streaming
Understanding of data security and governance principles

Experience with data visualization tools
