JOB OVERVIEW

Introduction: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Hotel Supplier Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business by reaching out to potential customers, such as travel agents, corporate clients, and other businesses worldwide, encouraging them to sign up and use our portal for hotel bookings. This role requires a combination of sales, marketing, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to manage supplier and agent relationships, ensure smooth account setups, and handle payments. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Lead Generation:

Reach out to potential customers, including travel agents and corporate clients worldwide, to introduce and promote our hotel booking portal.
Generate new leads, follow up with prospects, and convert them into registered users of the portal.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Use effective sales techniques to close deals and meet monthly or quarterly targets.
Marketing and Advertising:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new users to the platform.
Create compelling marketing materials (emails, brochures, advertisements) to promote our services to travel agents and corporate clients.
Manage and optimize online advertising campaigns to increase brand visibility and platform usage.
Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
Account Setup and Customer Onboarding:

Set up new customer accounts on the portal and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Provide training or guidance to new users on how to navigate and use the portal effectively.
Customize accounts based on client-specific needs and preferences.
Payment Management and Supplier Coordination:

Handle payment processing for customers, ensuring all transactions are completed smoothly and securely.
Work closely with suppliers and agents to manage payment schedules and ensure that financial transactions are up-to-date.
Resolve any payment-related queries or issues promptly and professionally.
Customer Service and Support:

Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service inquiries related to hotel bookings.
Handle customer complaints, issues, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Coordinate with hotels and suppliers to resolve booking discrepancies, cancellations, or special requests.
Provide ongoing support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications & Skills:

Sales Experience:

Proven track record in sales, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry.
Strong experience in cold calling, lead generation, and closing sales.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
Marketing Skills:

Experience with digital marketing, including email campaigns, online advertising, and social media marketing.
Ability to create marketing materials and engage customers through various communication channels.
Customer Service Expertise:

Strong customer service skills with the ability to address client concerns and resolve issues quickly.
A customer-first mindset, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with hotel booking platforms, CRM systems, and payment processing tools.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
Ability to learn new software quickly and troubleshoot minor technical issues.
Organizational & Communication Skills:

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients and accounts simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
