Content & Marketing Specialist

Rate & Hours:

$3.50/hour for the first week (trial period).
$4.00/hour starting from the second week.

Hours:
First month: 20 hours per week required.
Second month onward: 20-30 hours per week available (minimum 20 hours required; additional hours optional).

Responsibilities:
- Manage and update social media accounts for PortugueseLearner.com, DutchLearner.com, KittenPerfect.com, and DoggyPerfect.com.
- Create and execute engaging content strategies for blog posts, social media posts, and promotional materials with minimal supervision.
- Design simple yet effective visuals and graphics using tools like Canva.
- Respond to social media comments and messages in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with book marketing, including creating materials and running campaigns.
- Maintain and update website content, including posting blogs and promotional banners.

About the Role:
This is a highly self-steering role that requires a proactive, disciplined, and self-managed approach. You will receive general directives and objectives but are expected to independently manage your tasks, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality results with minimal instruction. We value creativity, initiative, and problem-solving over constant oversight.

Qualifications:
- Strong written English communication skills.
- Experience managing social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram).
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva or similar tools).
- Familiarity with blogging platforms like WordPress is a plus.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- A self-starter who thrives in roles with minimal guidance.

Start Date:
Ideally, January 20th, 2024.
