As our Sales Manager, being an expert in analysis is critical. You should never need to wait for the company to provide a report or template—you’ll proactively gather and analyze the data yourself. From CRM metrics to listening to sales calls, you’ll dive into every detail to identify trends, refine processes, and drive decisions while also maintaining an ongoing product training program with our suppliers and account managers. This is a role for someone who takes full ownership of their team’s performance and uses data-driven strategies to maximize success.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Performance & Metrics
Ensure each Account Manager achieves and improves key metrics:
- Lead to Proposal Rate
- Proposal to Sales Order Rate
- Average Margin
- Total Gross Profit per Month
Drive team performance to achieve at least $40,000 monthly gross profit per salesperson.

Sales Process Optimization
Refine sales scripts, improve objection handling, and streamline processes to maximize conversion rates.
Monitor CRM data to analyze performance, track KPIs, and identify improvement areas.

Call Monitoring & Coaching
Review sales calls daily to ensure adherence to scripts, effective questioning, and proper objection handling.
Develop personalized growth plans for team members to enhance skills and success rates.

Revenue Accountability
Ensure payments for orders are collected within 2 weeks of order creation.
Work proactively to eliminate bottlenecks in the sales cycle.

Strategic Leadership
Contribute to sales forecasting and planning, aligning efforts with business objectives.
Gather customer feedback to drive product and process improvements.

Qualifications:

Sales Management Experience: Proven success managing a sales team of at least 5 people in a high-pressure, high-volume environment.
Analytical Expertise: Exceptional ability to independently analyze data, create actionable insights, and implement improvements without waiting for company-provided tools.
Track Record: Demonstrated ability to improve sales processes and consistently achieve revenue targets.
Data-Driven: Proficient with CRM systems, data analysis, and performance tracking.
Proactive Leader: Takes ownership, solves problems independently, and drives team success.
