JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description:
We are a fine art photography business seeking a Fine Arts Marketing and Website Specialist with expertise in email marketing and website management. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, creative thinker with a strong eye for design, capable of managing and optimizing email campaigns and maintaining a Shopify-based website. This role requires a blend of technical skills, marketing expertise, and a sensitivity to the aesthetics and nuances of the fine arts industry.

Key Responsibilities:


Email
Campaign Management:

• Design, implement, and manage high-impact email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp.
• Develop visually compelling, brand-aligned email templates with a fine arts aesthetic.
• Write engaging and channel-optimized copy for newsletters and announcements.
• Analyze email performance metrics to refine strategy and improve open, click-through, and conversion rates.
• Conduct A/B testing to continuously enhance content and design performance.

Shopify Website Management and Optimization:

• Perform basic updates on the Shopify website, including uploading/removing products and updating descriptions.
• Monitor and maintain the site to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
• Analyze website traffic and click-through data using tools like Google Analytics or Shopify’s built-in analytics.
• Monitor traffic channels, generate reports on results, and suggest data-driven modifications to improve user experience and sales performance.
• Collaborate with the team to optimize the website for both desktop and mobile users.

Creative Content Development:

• Work with provided art and image assets to create visually appealing email and web content.
• Maintain a consistent tone, style, and aesthetic across all digital platforms.
• Ensure the website and marketing materials align with the fine arts brand identity.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

• Use data insights to inform creative decisions and optimize campaign and website performance.
• Proactively monitor and report on web traffic, click-through rates, and customer behavior to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide recommendations for optimizing both email and web marketing strategies.

Collaboration and Adaptability:

• Work closely with the creative team to execute marketing campaigns and maintain the website.
• Make informed, proactive decisions in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
• Adapt to evolving priorities while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in email marketing with a focus on Mailchimp or similar platforms.
• Basic proficiency in Shopify website management, including product uploads, updates, and maintenance.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with performance metrics, A/B testing, and web traffic analytics.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills tailored to email and web marketing.
• High design sensitivity with the ability to create visually appealing content.
• Familiarity with the fine arts industry and an understanding of its audience is a strong advantage.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or Canva).
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for both email and website content.
• Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
