About the Role:
Are you passionate about driving traffic, increasing rankings, and optimising online visibility? We’re looking for an SEO Specialist to join our client's team and play a crucial role in boosting their clients' search performance. You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing SEO strategies that enhance visibility across search engines, improve organic traffic, and contribute to long-term success for our clients. Working closely with their content, development, and marketing teams, you’ll ensure our websites are not only beautifully designed but also fully optimised to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance user experience.
- Conduct thorough keyword research to guide content strategy and on-page optimisation.
- Perform regular technical SEO audits, identifying areas for improvement, and working with developers to implement changes.
- Track, analyse, and report on website performance, identifying opportunities to improve SEO metrics and conversion rates.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates, and best practices to continually refine strategies.
- Collaborate with content creators and developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into new content and website builds.
- Monitor competitors' SEO activities and industry trends to keep ahead of the game.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role, with a deep understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Solid knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO, technical SEO, and content optimisation.
- Experience conducting keyword research and developing SEO strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website development principles as they relate to SEO.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Availability to part time between 9 am - 5 pm AEST.
