Primary Responsibilities
The Sales & Operations Manager will be responsible for achieving overall sales targets and smooth execution of business operations, including daily sales, client, and consultant management initiatives and back-end business operations tasks. A large proportion of your daily responsibilities will include fulfilling administrative duties and addressing client inquiries to complete sales. As you spend increasing time in the role, the position will include an additional emphasis on growth & business strategy.
This role will involve working closely with and reporting to the Director on a weekly basis, as well as interacting with various stakeholders such as consultants, clients, and partner organizations.

Client engagement
Sales
Maintain strong brand and product knowledge of MDconsultants Prep as well as the competitors in the Pre-med business
Develop a sales strategy and work towards meeting monthly sales targets and revenue numbers
Monitor and adjust client outreach and marketing strategies to meet sales targets
Generate new sales leads by seeking clients on pre-medical forums & groups online
Upsell existing and new clients with the products they need
Generate new sales leads by promoting our events and seminars to partners on university campuses and in high schools
Track and report sales metrics biweekly (and monthly)
Communication with clients
Drive sales by directly communicating with clients via
Educate clients on our products in a manner consistent with company values
Solicit feedback from clients who have completed their sessions including asking for consultant reviews and testimonials that can be featured on our website
Business management
Partnerships
Create new and foster old partnership relationships with local and international partners, including businesses, universities, high schools, and campus clubs to drive sales and enhance marketing efforts
Develop Agreements that align on ways of working the reciprocal nature of the partnership
Business Tactics
Maintain and track company performance metrics bi-weekly
Maintain the company’s accounts on QuickBooks and reconcile the company’s accounts with our accountant monthly.
Using the company’s 52-week calendar and weekly priorities, create and update a Task List on weekly basis to plan for the weeks ahead
Communication with team
Maintain accountability by logging hours worked on an up to date Task List weekly
Establish communications and presence with all Partners via WhatsApp,
Create a monthly summary of progress/wins to share with all Partners via WhatsApp
Consultant management
Screen, hire and onboard new consultants on an on-going basis
Anticipate hiring needs according to client demand, establish recruitment targets, and recruit new consultants as required
Maintain open communication with consultants to pair client needs with a consultant with the appropriate background and skill set
Manage consultant concerns and facilitate timely payments to consultants for work completed
Maintain an up-to-date Consultant database
Execute pre-existing programs to attract new and retain old consultants
Develop and maintain a monthly client newsletter
