Position Description

We are seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) freelance contractor to work with one of our clients as a Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will manage social media strategy and execution across platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube. Additional responsibilities include crafting engaging copy for websites, emails, and social posts, nurturing the email subscriber base through targeted campaigns, and creating light graphic designs for social media. Proficiency with tools such as Later.com, WordPress, Canva, and Loomly is essential, and working hours will align with PST time zone.



About the work
Manage and execute social media strategy for platforms including Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube, ensuring content aligns with brand objectives.
Maintain and update the client’s website, including uploading photography images and ensuring content is current and visually appealing.
Write engaging and on-brand copy for websites, email campaigns, and social media posts to drive engagement and conversions. While we encourage the use of AI tools for inspiration or efficiency, they are meant to enhance your workflow, not replace your creativity. All final deliverables should be original, thoughtfully created, and distinctly human.
Develop and manage email marketing campaigns to nurture and grow the subscriber base.
Create light graphic designs for social media posts using tools like Canva, ensuring visuals are on-brand and optimized for each platform.
Utilize tools such as Later.com, WordPress, Notion, and Loomly to streamline workflow and content management.
Work collaboratively with the team while maintaining availability during PST working hours.

5+ years of experience as a Marketing Manager, with a strong focus on social media strategy and execution across platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube.
Proficiency in website maintenance, specifically working with WordPress (to upload and manage content only).
Exceptional copywriting skills for creating engaging website copy, email campaigns, and social media posts.
Experience with email marketing and nurturing subscriber bases to drive engagement and conversions.
Strong eye for design with the ability to create light graphic designs for social posts using tools like Canva.
Familiarity with tools such as Later.com, WordPress, Notion, Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Loomly.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining brand consistency across all marketing materials.
Availability to work during PST hours, ensuring alignment with team and project needs.
