Calgary Home Watch, a premier home monitoring service in Calgary, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mobile App Developer to create a state-of-the-art application that enhances our clients' experience and streamlines our operations. Our mission is to provide peace of mind to homeowners by delivering professional and reliable home watch services, and this app will play a critical role in achieving that goal.

The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a strong eye for user experience, and a passion for building secure, high-performance applications. You will work closely with our team to ensure the app integrates seamlessly with our services, supports real-time updates, and meets the specific needs of our clients as outlined in our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
App Development & Design:
Develop a mobile app (iOS and Android) tailored to Calgary Home Watch’s unique service model.
Create a user-friendly interface for booking, service updates, and client communication.
Service Integration:
Implement features like photo/video uploads, real-time reporting, and push notifications to keep clients informed about their property status.
Enable secure client login and data encryption to ensure privacy and compliance with industry standards.
Operational Efficiency:
Design backend functionality that supports efficient scheduling, reporting, and staff communication.
Integrate client feedback and service updates to provide real-time transparency.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing to ensure cross-platform compatibility, bug-free performance, and a smooth user experience.
Debug and resolve issues post-launch and provide ongoing support.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with stakeholders, including Melanie and the Calgary Home Watch team, to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Provide regular updates on progress and adjust based on team input.
Qualifications
Proven experience in developing mobile apps for iOS and Android.
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter.
Experience with backend integration, API development, and data security.
Expertise in UI/UX design and delivering intuitive, visually appealing applications.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with service-based business models.
Understanding of real-time reporting and notification systems.
Knowledge of cloud-based services like AWS or Firebase.
