Video Editor

We are looking for a video editor to join our team. If you have a passion for editing long-form videos, attention to detail, and loves video editing software, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
--- Editing Video & Podcast Footage: Transform raw video and audio into a polished final product, selecting the best clips, cutting, rearranging, and adding transitions, effects, and sound design.
--- Story Creation: Collaborate with the team to develop a compelling narrative that engages the audience.
--- Color Correction & Grading: Adjust colors, brightness, contrast, and saturation to ensure visual consistency and quality.
--- Audio Editing: Ensure clear, balanced audio throughout the video.
--- Collaboration: Work closely with the team, providing input and feedback to achieve the desired results.
--- Organization: Manage large amounts of footage, ensuring everything is well-organized.
--- Tech-Savvy: Stay updated on new editing tools and software.
--- Attention to Detail: Ensure no errors or missed cuts in the final product.

Requirements:

= Work asynchronously in the Pacific Time Zone
= Experience editing for platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook
= Edit weekly podcasts and videos from an archive
=Understand the brand voice and create videos that reflect it
= Offer suggestions for improving the editing process
= Plan and execute tasks independently, meeting deadlines
= Strong communication and proactive updates
= Able to work independently, manage tasks, and deliver on time

In the pre-interview process, you have to provide a loom video of yourself and do a test task then do a live interview so that we could get to know you better.
