As a Renewal Associate at Specialty Capital, you will play a critical role in driving customer retention and sales performance. Your primary focus will be on identifying renewal opportunities, maintaining accurate data, and collaborating with internal teams, ISOs, and merchants to optimize the renewal process. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to fostering positive customer experiences and supporting the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Moderation:
Regularly update and maintain accurate data points related to renewals using Slack and Google Sheets
Identify key opportunities in our renewal pipeline and flag them for immediate action using Slack and Sheets as well.
Sales Team Support:
Push actionable insights and renewal opportunities directly to the sales team.
Check CRM to see if any currently (or past funded deal) was subbed in from a different marketplace.
Provide a streamlined process for the team to access and leverage critical information to drive performance.
Collaborate to address any challenges that may impact the renewal process.
Administrative Tasks:
Monitor and follow up on files nearing milestones
Track and report progress across renewals to ensure no opportunity is missed.
Make sure the sales team has notes on each deal which they are assigned to - failure to update notes every 2 weeks per deal results in lead moving on in the round robin. Tracks and manages data of each sales rep and ensures KPIs are met.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and renewal activities.
Provide regular reports on renewal performance and contribute insights for continuous improvement.
Customer Engagement and Sales Conversion:
Proactively engage with funded customers to ensure a positive and personalized experience.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback to enhance overall satisfaction.
Process refinancing and/or add-ons
Renewal Eligibility Identification:
Identify and report on renewal-eligible deals within the Specialty Capital portfolio.
Collaborate with marketplace and internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for the renewal process.
Work closely with internal teams to coordinate and streamline the renewal process.
Implement strategies to improve the company's renewal rate.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in customer service, account management, or a similar role.
Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
Proficiency in Google Workspace.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
Experience in the financial services industry.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
