Experienced Proofreader and Graphics Specialist for Business Book Series

Position: Full-Time Proofreader & Graphics Specialist

Our books are crafted to empower professionals with practical knowledge and actionable insights. We are seeking a versatile professional to join our team to help bring these books to life and make them a success in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Proofreading & Editing:
Review manuscripts with meticulous attention to grammar, punctuation, and consistency.
Ensure content aligns with the brand's tone and style guide.
Suggest improvements to enhance readability and impact.
Graphics & Design:
Create print-ready cover artwork aligned with each book's theme.
Design engaging interior layouts, including charts, infographics, and images to break up text.
Ensure all files meet the technical specifications of various Print On Demand platforms (e.g., KDP, IngramSpark).
Publication Preparation:
Format manuscripts for print and digital publication, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Coordinate with Print On Demand services to ensure smooth publication.
Marketing Support:
Assist in creating marketing materials (social media graphics, book teasers, etc.).
Collaborate on marketing strategies to promote the books post-publication.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in proofreading and editing, preferably for business or professional content.
Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar).
Familiarity with Print On Demand platforms and their technical requirements (e.g., KDP, IngramSpark) or at least the ability to learn.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and detail.
Marketing experience is a plus but not essential.
