DEVOPS / Infrastructure Engineer (Remote)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with specialized knowledge in Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions tailored to support Adobe Commerce environments. This role requires deep expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and a strong understanding of Adobe Commerce architecture.


Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Adobe Commerce infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to automate provisioning and configuration management.
- Optimize Adobe Commerce performance and ensure high availability through fault-tolerant design and continuous monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand application requirements and optimize infrastructure accordingly.
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
- Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the infrastructure, including data encryption, access controls, and vulnerability management.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure Adobe Commerce applications meet SLAs and performance targets.
- Conduct regular infrastructure audits and capacity planning to anticipate future needs and scale infrastructure accordingly.
- Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies.

Prerequisite Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role with a focus on Adobe Commerce (Magento).
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Commerce architecture, including cloud deployment models (Cloud, Commerce, B2B Commerce).
- Strong proficiency in cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to infrastructure, performance, and scalability.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar are a plus.

Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with other eCommerce platforms and systems integration.
- Knowledge of relational and SQL databases commonly used with Adobe Commerce.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
