Architectural Revit Drafter

Remote VA PH is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Revit Drafter to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Revit and a solid understanding of American architectural drafting standards, with a focus on residential and light commercial architectural projects.

The drafter will be responsible for creating detailed construction documents, ensuring compliance with U.S. building codes, and collaborating effectively with team members. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:
-Develop detailed construction drawings for residential and light commercial projects using Revit.
-Ensure compliance with American architectural drafting standards and U.S. building codes.
-Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to meet project deadlines.
-Perform revisions and updates to drawings as needed.
-Occasionally use AutoCAD and SketchUp for supplementary design tasks.

Requirements:
-Strong experience with Revit in an architectural drafting context.
-Familiarity with U.S. architectural standards, residential, and light commercial construction.
-Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
-Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
-Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
-Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Prior experience working with U.S.-based clients.
-Knowledge of U.S. residential and light commercial building codes.

Working Schedule
-Work full-time from 9 AM - 5 PM EST.
-Work from home
