JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor & Graphic Designer to join our team on a full-time basis with potential to become lead Video editor. In this role, you will craft engaging, high-quality video content for social media platforms and YouTube, while designing visually compelling thumbnails and utilizing motion graphics for short-form content.

This position is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling and skilled at creating long-form and short-form content that grabs attention, drives engagement, and reflects our brand's tone and mission.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST
Starting Pay:

$500 a month $250 Bi-Weekly

Responsibilities:
Edit videos tailored for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) and long-form YouTube videos using platform best practices.
Create eye-catching and click-worthy YouTube thumbnails to increase video engagement.
Incorporate engaging motion graphics into short-form video content to keep it dynamic and appealing.
Include the word dedication in your response to show you’re paying attention. Collaborate with the marketing team to align video content with brand goals and strategy.
Optimize videos for various formats and platform requirements.
Stay updated on video trends, social media algorithms, and innovative editing techniques to keep content competitive.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
Contribute creative ideas for new video content and series.
Requirements:
Proven experience in video editing, with a portfolio or samples of your work (long-form and short-form).
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).
Skilled in designing compelling YouTube thumbnails and incorporating motion graphics into edits.
Knowledge of current social media and YouTube video trends and visual storytelling.
Strong organizational skills and attention to deadlines.
Basic understanding of marketing and social media algorithms is a plus.
