Network Engineer and Web Development - Australia

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer and IT Support Specialist to join our team. This remote position requires a proactive and experienced professional who can ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, provide robust support to end-users, and contribute to the development of scalable network solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in networking, system administration, cloud services, and web development is a must have experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient network solutions.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize system functionality.
Provide remote IT support to end-users, including hardware, software, and connectivity troubleshooting.
Configure and maintain servers, switches, routers, and firewalls.
Ensure system security through regular updates, patches, and monitoring.
Manage and support cloud services and virtual environments.
Collaborate with the team to implement and manage web hosting, Certificate Authorities and web development projects.
Document system configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry best practices to recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering, IT support, system administration and WEB Development.
Strong understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software.
Experience in supporting and troubleshooting IT environments.
Knowledge of web development, including hosting, DNS, CA's and coding.
