Commercial Lines VA

We are looking for a new Team Member that should bring a strong background in commercial insurance, including expertise in understanding coverage, rating with various carriers, and excellent communication skills. A key part of their role will involve crafting and delivering professional emails to clients and carrier partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Issuing new commercial insurance policies.
Quoting various types of insurance risks in both standard and surplus lines markets.
They must have a strong background in creating ACORD applications and completing supplemental insurance applications independently.
Reviewing quotes for accuracy and ensuring they meet client and agent expectations.
Communicating directly with underwriters, which requires strong product knowledge and the ability to effectively collaborate with carrier partners.
We are seeking someone with exceptional organizational skills to manage the high volume of daily client activity and someone who approaches every request with a sense of urgency to ensure timely and accurate service.

Ideal Candidate:

· Experience working with the EzLynx

· Insurance experience – working with independent agencies

· Experience generating quotes in the following carrier sites: Auto Owners, Westfield, and Progressive/ASI

· General knowledge of how to use Agency Zoom

· Good – Excellent use of English and grammar

· Comfortable with working independently w/limited oversight or assistance needed.

· Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Comfortable with change and willingness to learn new things

· Strong ability to multi-task
