JOB OVERVIEW

NOTE: This is a "Gig" project, not full-time. This project will last a maximum of one month.

I receive a significant number of "spam" applications. So, I need to filter out the best candidates who are truly interested in this project and who follow directions. To apply:
1. Apply ONLY on onlinejobs.ph. DO NOT email me directly. Doing so will result in an unread, deleted email with no reply.
2. Include your résumé as a PDF.
3. Use 10 apply points.
4. Please directly address what you can do for this project specifically, not just your general qualifications. Include experiences with relevant project work you've done in the past.

If you don't meet the qualifications in this description, please refrain from applying.

I'm looking for someone to create written and visual documentation as well as a voice-narrated video walkthrough of how to edit four WordPress websites. Three of the websites are built using Elementor. One of them is built using the Block Editor ("Gutenberg"). This documentation is for a non-technical website owner who wants to know how to log into and edit their new WordPress websites.

The documentation will be written using Google Docs and will include screenshots (a past project's document will be provided as a template). The document will be delivered to the users as a PDF so that they can search for keywords on how to do things.

You will also create, edit, and deliver a video walkthrough corresponding closely with the document so the user can follow along with the video and make notes on a printed-out copy of the PDF.

You will be given access to a sandbox version of the site to become familiar with the site (research) and then create a full document, including a title page, table of contents, header/footer, page numbering, sections, and subsections. The documented steps will be illustrated using annotated screenshots.

The document and video formats need to be clean, clear, and easily understood by an end user with only a basic understanding of computers and no prior knowledge of WordPress or blogging. The video narration needs to be clear and understandable with professional audio that doesn't have background noise. It's fine to clean the background noise using Adobe Podcast.

You will need to speak and write English at a C2 level (Advanced/Mastery) WITHOUT primary reliance on ChatGPT or grammar-checking tools. You will also need to have more than intermediate experience with a WordPress documentation project like this. I will need to see an example of your prior documentation work to qualify you for the job.

The topics to be covered will be:
1. Logging in
2. Navigating the back end
3. Editing and creating new blog posts
4. Changing images and copy throughout the site
5. Updating the navigation
6. Stage / publish drafted changes so people can review and they can get approval before pushing anything live
