Position Summary:
We are seeking an organized and compassionate Intake Coordinator to join our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinic. As the first point of contact for prospective clients, you will play a crucial role in guiding families through the intake process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the importance of delivering exceptional client service in the field of ABA therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding: Manage the intake process for new clients, including initial inquiries, scheduling assessments, and collecting necessary documentation.
Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for families, providing clear and compassionate guidance on the intake process.
Data Management: Maintain detailed and organized client records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinic policies.
Scheduling: Coordinate assessment appointments and assign appropriate staff, including Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
Collaboration: Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth transition from intake to therapy services.
Problem Solving: Address client concerns or barriers during the intake process and escalate issues as needed.
Reporting: Track and report on intake metrics, including inquiries, completed intakes, and waitlist statuses.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field (preferred).
Previous experience in a healthcare, ABA, or mental health setting is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of ABA therapy and terminology is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Empathy and patience in working with families navigating autism services.
Work Environment:
This is a full-time position in a fast-paced clinical environment. The role requires collaboration with families, clinical staff, and insurance providers to ensure a seamless intake process.
