Medical Billing Specialist

Looking for an experienced Billing Specialist:

We are looking for an experienced, go getter individual to join our revenue cycle team

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ADVANCED MD PM SOFTWARE

Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes, modifiers and respective charges and maintains accurate entry into practice management software.
Posts daily visit charges and receipts into the correct patient account in an accurate and timely manner.
Records and updates patient demographic information and obtains required billing and insurance information from patients and/or co-workers as needed.
Proficient in accounts receivable, with the ability to identify nonpayment/denials and the corrections needed to ensure claim payment
Knowledgeable and completes insurance reconsiderations/appeals and claims corrections both in insurance payer portals and PM software.
Extensive knowledge with Medicare and Medicaid payors/understanding of MSP/identifying Medicare Advantage Plans and payer of last resort
Ability to post insurance payments/apply patient responsibilities

Hours Available: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm MST (part time to begin)
