Email First Line Copywriter

Hi!

We are a growing SaaS company expanding our email marketing funnel, and we're looking for a talented copywriter to write the first lines of our emails. You will not be writing entire emails, you will only be writing the first line, which is crucial to persuade someone to open an email.

Your work will follow this process:

1) We give you a list of contacts with their links, including their LinkedIn, website, Facebook, etc.
2) You will use these links to research this individual and their business, finding specific details about them or their work that is ideally recent.
3) You will use these specific details to write one opening line for an email to them. The goal is to make it as personalized as possible, and to make a personal connection so they will open the email.

This is a part-time role where we would like to start at 10 hours per week, and there is potential to grow all the way up to a full-time role based on performance.

You do not need to have performed this task before, but you MUST have a high level of English proficiency. It is crucial that these sentences sound like a native English speaker wrote them.

This position is fully remote. You may work at whatever time of the day is best for you, however it’s essential that you are punctual and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

- Minimum 1-year experience in??email copywriting or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in English.
- Ability to work with tools like Slack for team communications.
- Examples of your writing work, preferably in email copywriting.

In order to be considered, you must use at least 6 Apply Points, and include examples of your work.

If selected, you will be asked to write a handful of first lines to demonstrate your proficiency. You will then perform a video interview before starting.
