We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven IT Sales Specialist to join our team, focusing on network equipment and cybersecurity solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying client needs, promoting our cutting-edge products, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of networking and cybersecurity technologies, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering tailored solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets for network equipment and cybersecurity solutions.
Identify and target prospective clients through market research, networking, and lead generation.
Customer Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business challenges and presenting appropriate solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations with the Pre Sales Engineers to showcase the value of our solutions.
Product Expertise:
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in networking and cybersecurity technologies, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and endpoint protection.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client needs.
Pipeline Management:
Maintain an organized sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and closed deals using CRM tools.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports for management.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
Work closely with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns for network and cybersecurity solutions.
Partner with technical support and engineering teams to address complex client inquiries and ensure seamless implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in IT networking or cybersecurity industries.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of networking technologies such as routers, switches, collaboration and wireless solutions.
Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, tools, and standards (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, threat intelligence, and compliance frameworks).
Skills:
Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Tools & Certifications (Preferred):
Proficiency in CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
