Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for multiple entities, including U.S. and Swedish businesses.
Reconcile accounts, track expenses, and prepare comprehensive financial reports.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate records.
Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks and reconcile with data from e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify).
Coordinate with third-party accounting firms for tax filings, payroll processing, and compliance-related activities in both regions.
Assist with financial close processes, including balance sheet and income statement reviews for all entities.
Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates and analysis to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with U.S. and Swedish accounting standards and regulations.
Streamline financial workflows and document processes, including creating Loom videos for operational consistency.
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Mandatory: Proven experience in both U.S. and Swedish bookkeeping practices.
Demonstrated expertise in managing books for multiple businesses simultaneously.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and familiarity with reconciling records from e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
Strong understanding of U.S. and Swedish tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external teams.
Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with e-commerce and service-based businesses.
Background in working with international teams or clients.
Proficiency in Swedish language or significant experience working with Swedish-speaking teams.
