Are you a skilled bookkeeper with expertise in Australian accounting practices, payroll, and Xero? We're looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Assistant to join our team and support our growing bookkeeping business.

The Role:
As our Virtual Bookkeeping Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our clients stay on top of their finances. This is a part-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reconciliation, using Xero.
Process payroll for clients, ensuring compliance with Australian accounting and taxation laws.
Maintain accurate records for accounts payable and receivable.
Generate and review financial reports - understanding business performance.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards, GST, and payroll legislation.
Proficiency in Xero and related add-ons.
Experience with payroll, including processing and compliance.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working with Australian businesses using Xero software.
