JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Director of Sales to join our team driving hospitality sales. In this remote role, you will play a critical part in driving revenue growth through strategic grassroots sales efforts, targeted manual outreach, and building meaningful relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have expert-level communication skills, a strong track record of success in sales, and a proven ability to proactively identify and secure new business opportunities while fostering lasting relationships with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development:
- Create and implement proactive sales strategies to target local and regional markets.
- Focus on driving group bookings, corporate accounts, and extended-stay clients.

2. Grassroots Sales Outreach:
- Conduct manual outreach through personalized email campaigns and phone calls to prospective clients.
- Build strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, and travel partners to drive repeat and referral business.
- Leverage digital tools and platforms to identify and engage potential clients remotely.

3. Account Management:
- Develop and nurture relationships with key accounts to ensure loyalty and repeat bookings.
- Regularly follow up with past clients to maintain engagement and identify new opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements that align with the hotel's revenue goals.

4. Revenue Growth:
- Meet or exceed sales targets by actively prospecting and closing new business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and staff to identify revenue opportunities and align sales goals with the hotel's overall strategy.

5. Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue projections.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance to hotel management.
- Analyze sales data to identify successful strategies and areas for improvement.

6. Team Collaboration:
- Partner with the front desk and operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences for booked clients.
- Work closely with marketing to align promotional efforts with sales goals.
- Train and mentor any supporting sales staff or team members.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business sales or a similar role, preferably in hospitality or real estate-service properties.
- Strong background in grassroots, manual outreach, and relationship-based sales.
- Excellent communication skills, including cold calling, email outreach, and virtual presentations.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Knowledge of local markets and key demand drivers in the area.
