A Homeowner Association / Property Management company based in the US is seeking for a talented Bookeeper/ Accountant to join their team remotely. Must be professional, knowledgeable, able to multitask, work independently and with a team, and have good problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Bank account reconciliations
- Review of Accounts Payable
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Budget preparation, entry, and review
- Monthly journal entries on an accrual basis
- Board of Director Assistance as it relates to the Financial
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting or a related field
- 2+ years of Bookkeeping experience (Required)
- 2+ years of Excel experience (Required)
- Vantaca, AppFolio, Yardi, or any property management software experience (preferred)
- GL Accounting & Financial Reporting Experience. Knowledge of GAAP
- Exceptional English skills: listening, written, and verbal.
- Must be very responsive, and have the ability to manage different personalities. (Strong work ethic)
- Ability to work independently and with a team in an environment where the emphasis is placed on accuracy and timeliness
- Strong problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and goals
- Experience in professional HOA management preferred
- Ability to work 40 hours a week following US time zone.
