As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled Photo Retoucher to join our offshore team. This role is essential to ensuring the final images meet our meticulous standards and uphold our mission of creating impactful, confidence-boosting portraits.

Key Responsibilities

Photo Retouching:
Edit and retouch portrait images in alignment with Studio Republic’s style guide and quality standards.
Ensure all images retain natural and authentic features while highlighting each client’s unique beauty.

Image Sizing & Preparation:
Resize and format images to meet specifications for print and digital use.
Prepare final image files for production, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all outputs.
File Management:

Organise and manage image files efficiently to maintain a clear workflow.
Ensure timely delivery of images to the production team.

Quality Control:
Review images for consistency, quality, and adherence to Studio Republic’s guidelines before submitting them for final production.

Communication:
Collaborate with the Studio Republic team to understand project requirements and feedback.
Respond promptly to queries or updates regarding assigned tasks.
Requirements

Experience & Skills:
Proven experience in professional photo retouching, ideally in portrait photography.
Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and bridge.
Strong understanding of image editing techniques, including skin retouching, colour correction, and lighting adjustments.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to precise guidelines.

Technical Proficiency:
Knowledge of file formats, image resolution, and preparing images for production and print.
Familiarity with file-sharing platforms and workflow management tools is a plus.

Work Ethic:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Strong communication skills in English for effective collaboration with our team.

Preferred Qualifications:
Background in photography, graphic design, or a related field.
Experience working in a similar offshore or remote capacity is an advantage.
