What You’ll Do:
As an Accountant, you’ll manage a portfolio of Homeowners Association, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accrual-based monthly financial statements within specified deadlines.
- Reconciling bank and investment statements.
- Analyzing income/expense variances and providing detailed explanations.
- Managing accounts payable and receivable reconciliations.
- Preparing annual budgets and forecasts.
- Recording and managing miscellaneous cash receipts.
- Reviewing and posting adjustments from audited financial statements.
- Attending board/finance committee meetings as needed.
- Handling specialized financial assignments.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience as an Accountant (CPA highly preferred).
- Knowledge of accounting standards and regulations (GAAP).
- Fund accounting experience (a plus but not required).
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro.
- Exposure to real estate or property management accounting is a bonus!
