We’re looking for a talented Social Media Video Editor to join our team and help create compelling video content tailored for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other platforms, following the latest editing trends, styles, and formats.
• Incorporate trending sounds, visual effects, and storytelling techniques to create engaging content.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver content that aligns with clients’ branding and objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with current marketing trends, platform updates, and emerging content strategies.
• Optimize videos for specific platforms, ensuring proper dimensions, resolutions, and formats.
• Meet deadlines consistently and maintain open communication about project timelines and progress.
• Maintain a library of edited assets for future use and reference.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio showcasing short-form content designed for social media (Reels, TikToks, etc.).
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
• Ability to identify and incorporate trending audio, hashtags, and visual effects.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• A passion for storytelling and creating engaging, visually appealing content.
