Position Overview
The Junior Account Associate will play a crucial role in supporting our account managers by managing sales operations, data entry, and reporting. This role is designed for a detail-oriented individual passionate about sports, sales processes, and delivering high-quality service to schools and athletes. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and have a strong ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Operations Support
- Assist account managers by handling day-to-day sales operations tasks, including data management, athlete onboarding, and product launches.
Data Verification and Website QC
- Perform quality checks on athlete information and product listings to ensure data accuracy and consistency across platforms.
- Manage the athlete database, ensuring accurate tracking of sign-ups, sport details, numbers, and artwork progress.
Mock-Up Changes:
- Coordinate any necessary adjustments to product mock-ups, ensuring timely updates and approval.
Seasonal Player Removals:
- Update the athlete database to reflect seasonal changes, removing inactive athletes and updating active rosters.
Process roster changes, including new sign-ups, transfers, and athlete departures, keeping all information up-to-date in the system.
Athlete Onboarding & Tracking
- Facilitate athlete onboarding, transferring opt-ins from Jotform/Airtable to the CSM Tracker.
- Submit and track phase builds for product launches and onboarding progress.
- Deliver “Now Live” graphics to account managers and athletes, ensuring timely communication of merchandise launches.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of athlete information, sales metrics, and product inventories.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on athlete activation, merchandise sales, and school performance to support account managers’ strategies.
- Manage the Exclusive Product Board, keeping it updated with new product releases and athlete-specific merchandise.
- Transfer Create-Your-Own-Merch (CYOM) Typeform submissions into digestible cards for the Graphx/Creative team.
Athlete Success & Communication
- Serve as a liaison between account managers and operations, ensuring smooth communication and prompt response to requests.
- Manage direct messages (DMs) from athletes, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Handle ticket requests related to roster management, number changes, athlete removals, etc.
Process Improvement
- Identify and suggest process enhancements that improve efficiency, data accuracy, and the overall onboarding experience for athletes and schools.
