REMOTE FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced CFO with a strong background in real estate finance, rental management, and property accounting. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in rent collection, managing cash flow, and overseeing financial operations for real estate projects. Familiarity with property management systems such as QuickBooks is essential, as well as the ability to leverage technology in a fully remote, fast-paced digital environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Financial Modeling of Real Estate Investment/Portfolio
• Income and Expense Projections: Forecasting future rental income, operating expenses, and property taxes.
• Reporting and Communication: Clearly and concisely communicating the results of the financial modeling to
stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and management.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis
• Develop and implement budgets, forecasts, and financial plans tailored for property management and development
projects.
• Analyze financial data to improve performance metrics, providing insights to senior management.
3. General Finance & Leadership
• Lead financial operations, including day-to-day accounting, payroll, and cash flow for corporate and project-level
entities.
• Coordinate with project property accountants and oversee monthly financial reports.
4. Technical Proficiency
• Utilize QuickBooks to manage and track project and rental finances, ensuring accuracy of financial records.
5. Financial Operations in Property Management
• Manage rental and rent collection processes, ensuring timely cash flow management.
• Oversee property-related accounting functions, including income/expense tracking and reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a finance leadership role with a focus on real estate or property management.
• Proficient in QuickBooks, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong decision-making and organizational skills with remote work experience.

DESIRED SKILLS:
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with virtual teams and international stakeholders.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and property management accounting standards.
• Experience with financial modeling for property and real estate projects.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, fixed 2 days off.
