Role Overview
As a PR Specialist at Sociallyin, you’ll play a key role in positioning our brand and our clients as leaders in the social media and marketing space. You will craft compelling stories, pitch them to industry reporters, and secure meaningful media coverage. To excel in this role, you’ll need to be an exceptional writer, a savvy communicator, and a pro with tools like Muck Rack, Prezly, or similar platforms to streamline PR workflows.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation: Research, write, and edit press releases, thought leadership articles, client success stories, and media pitches that capture attention.

Pitching: Develop creative, targeted media pitches and successfully secure coverage in top-tier, trade, and regional outlets.
Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with reporters, editors, and influencers in the marketing, social media, and creative agency spaces.

Media Tools: Leverage tools like Muck Rack, Prezly, or similar to manage media lists, track placements, and monitor coverage.
Reporting: Provide detailed reports on media coverage, pitch success rates, and PR campaign performance with actionable insights for optimization.

Trendspotting: Stay on top of trends in social media marketing, PR, and related industries to inform pitches and thought leadership opportunities.

Collaboration: Work closely with Sociallyin’s content production and strategy teams to align PR efforts with broader marketing initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:
Experience: 2-5 years of PR experience, preferably in the social media, marketing, or creative agency industries.
Writing Expertise: Exceptional ability to write concise, engaging, and professional content tailored for different audiences and platforms.

Relationship-Building Skills: Existing relationships with reporters in marketing, tech, or lifestyle verticals—or a strong ability to develop them quickly.

Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with PR tools like Muck Rack, Prezly, or equivalent platforms. Experience with media monitoring tools is a bonus.

Strategic Thinker: Ability to craft unique story angles and campaigns that capture media attention and drive results.
Results-Oriented: Proven track record of securing placements and achieving measurable PR outcomes.
Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational and project management skills to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
