Are you a self-starter with a passion for web development? Do you want to be part of a company that values your growth and rewards your dedication? Look no further, as we are seeking a talented and driven Web Developer to join our team and contribute to our company's expansion!
Key Responsibilities:
Primary focus on web development, particularly in WordPress.
You will follow instructions for designing websites in WordPress and have the ability to customise themes as per client requests.
Where the instructions leave gaps, you will do your best to find your own solutions, benchmarking from current trends in the web design industry.
The more skills and responsibilities you take on, the more you get paid.
Optional additional responsibilities include sales (finding and approaching leads), research, and project management.
Essential skills and experience (that we will test):
• Web Development - not just using page builders but actual knowledge to customise things using CSS or similar
• Ability to customise or create simple plugins
• English language at minimum B2 level
• Strong problem-solving, communication and initiative (not waiting to be told what to do always)
• Desire to learn and expand your skillset (using Google, Chat GPT, GitHub and other resources to teach yourself when there is something that you don't know).
Ideally, we want someone who will eventually become a full-time employee, someone who we can rely on. This is an opportunity where you are limited just by how good you are at your work. You can become a project manager, a salesperson or even a partner. The only requirement is quality work and reliability. Do you know why? Because if you are very good at what you are doing, our business is growing and we don't mind sharing that with whoever is bringing that.
How will we know we are a good match?
First we want to see your portfolio, some links with the websites you have created. We will have a quick interview, followed by one hour paid skills assessment. If this sounds intimidating, don't worry. It will just be putting you in some situations in which you can show us some of your skills (discussed in the interview).
