JOB OVERVIEW

Social Media Management:
• Plan, create, and schedule social media content (images, videos, captions) across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) to align with the brand’s voice and marketing objectives.
• Monitor social media channels daily, responding to comments, messages, and interactions to foster engagement and build community.
• Track and report on engagement metrics, suggesting improvements for content strategy based on audience behavior and trends.


Email
Marketing Support:
• Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including drafting compelling copy, setting up automated sequences, and segmenting audiences for targeted messaging.
• Design email templates, test email deliveries across devices, and optimize subject lines and content for higher open and click-through rates.
• Analyze email performance (open rates, CTR, conversions) and prepare reports to share insights and recommended adjustments.

Influencer and Partnership Management:
• Identify, research, and reach out to potential influencers and partners aligned with our brand to develop collaboration opportunities.
• Coordinate deliverables and deadlines with influencers, ensuring all parties understand the campaign objectives and guidelines.
• Track and evaluate the success of influencer campaigns, measuring engagement and ROI to optimize future partnerships.

Content Creation and Coordination:
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop content ideas that are engaging, visually appealing, and aligned with our brand’s messaging.
• Research and draft blog posts, website copy, and product descriptions that capture the attention of our audience and improve SEO.
• Organize and maintain a content calendar, ensuring timely posting and consistent content flow across all marketing channels.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Collect and analyze data from various marketing channels, including social media, email, and website analytics, to monitor campaign performance.
• Prepare regular reports summarizing key performance indicators, trends, and insights to inform marketing strategies.
• Use A/B testing and other optimization techniques to refine content and strategies based on data insights.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify new marketing opportunities.
• Summarize and report findings to the team, offering recommendations on how to apply insights to improve our marketing efforts.

Administrative and Organizational Tasks:
• Maintain organized records of marketing materials, campaign results, and influencer contracts to ensure data is readily available for reporting and planning.
• Update and manage digital files, databases, and marketing assets, ensuring that all resources are up to date and easy to access.
• Support the marketing team with additional tasks as needed, such as coordinating project timelines and communicating with third-party vendors.

Requirements:
Marketing Experience:
• Proven experience in a marketing, social media, or virtual assistant role, ideally within a fast-paced or startup environment.
• Familiarity with digital marketing fundamentals, including content marketing, social media management, and customer engagement strategies.

Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and their built-in analytics tools.
• Competency in basic marketing tools, such as Canva for design, MailChimp or Klaviyo for email marketing, and Google Analytics or Facebook Insights for data analysis.
• Experience with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) to plan and automate posts across channels.

Content Creation Skills:
• Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to adapt tone and style to match the brand’s voice.
• Visual content creation skills, including a basic understanding of design principles for creating social media graphics and email templates.
• Understanding of SEO principles to optimize content for search engines.

Analytical Skills:
• Ability to interpret marketing data and metrics to make informed recommendations and adjustments to campaigns.
• Experience with A/B testing and using insights to optimize content and engagement strategies.

Organizational and Time-Management Skills:
• Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• A proactive approach to task management, anticipating project needs and prioritizing tasks accordingly.

Communication and Collaboration:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
