About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Bid Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing construction bid packages, performing takeoffs, and estimating project costs.

Responsibilities:

Review and analyze construction bid packages, including blueprints, specifications, and project scope documents.
Perform accurate takeoffs to quantify materials and labor requirements.
Develop detailed cost estimates, including material costs, labor costs, and overhead expenses.
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with each project.
Prepare comprehensive bid proposals, including pricing, timelines, and project scope.
Collaborate with project managers and estimators to ensure accurate and competitive bids.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff).
Strong math and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation:

Full-time position
Salary: $800 USD per month
