JOB OVERVIEW

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Assistant to join our internal team and provide advanced support in website management, SEO, blog writing, and Google Ads. This role is integral to the growth of a marketing agency focused on mental health professionals. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge in Google Ads, staying ahead of trends and best practices, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize campaigns at a high level. While this is not a client-facing role, the Virtual Assistant will implement strategies, resolve technical issues, and generate insightful reports to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
Google Ads Expertise:
Manage end-to-end Google Ads campaigns, including account setup, linking, pixel integration, and troubleshooting.
Provide advanced technical support for Google Ads, ensuring accounts are set up correctly, tracking is accurate, and all configurations align with best practices.
Stay up-to-date on Google Ads updates, trends, and tools, proactively suggesting improvements to maximize performance and ROI.
Perform ongoing optimizations, including bid adjustments, audience targeting refinements, keyword updates, and budget management.
Conduct advanced troubleshooting for underperforming campaigns, analyzing issues, and implementing solutions.
Generate detailed performance reports, including actionable insights, to guide internal strategies.
Website Development:
Manage, update, and optimize WordPress websites, including plug-ins, back-end functionality, and SEO compliance.
Assist in transitioning clients to simpler platforms like Shopify or Wix for improved usability and SEO performance.
Ensure all website elements are optimized for SEO, including metadata, internal links, and schema markup.
SEO and Content Creation:
Conduct keyword research and develop strategies to improve clients’ search engine rankings.
Write SEO-optimized blog posts tailored to the target audience of mental health professionals.
Use tools like SEMrush, SurferSEO, and Google Analytics to monitor performance and refine strategies.
Systems and Reporting:
Maintain organized and accurate records in Notion, Google Drive, and other project management tools.
Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for recurring tasks, ensuring processes are clearly documented and efficient.
Provide regular reports on campaign performance, SEO metrics, and website updates to support the internal team’s decision-making.
Qualifications:
Google Ads:
Expert-level knowledge of Google Ads, with 3+ years of hands-on experience managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing campaigns.
Proven ability to identify and resolve technical issues, such as tracking errors, incorrect account linking, and pixel misconfigurations.
In-depth understanding of advanced Google Ads features, including remarketing, conversion tracking, and audience segmentation.
Other Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in WordPress, Shopify, and Wix, with experience in website development and maintenance.
Expertise in SEO tools like SEMrush, Google Analytics, and SurferSEO.
Advanced content writing skills, with experience in blog creation and optimization.
Soft Skills:
Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
A proactive learner who stays ahead of trends in digital marketing and Google Ads.
Organized and independent, able to prioritize tasks effectively without supervision.
