Social Media Content Creator

We are looking for a Social Media Content Creator to join our Podcast Team.

Expat Property Story is a podcast for expats investing in UK property, with listeners in 150 countries. We have released 180+ episodes since our launch in February 2022, and we’ve never missed a week. We are now looking to grow our email marketing funnel to attract new leads and subscribers.

The ideal candidate will work closely with us to design and edit photo and video content for our weekly podcast releases. You’ll be responsible for creating templates and editing content that aligns with our brand and audience, helping us expand our reach and engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing templates for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) that can be used consistently for each episode
- Edit short-form video clips and reels (60-90 seconds) for platforms like Instagram and YouTube
- Design carousels, quote graphics, and other content assets for social media posts
- Format and edit long-form video clips to capture major episode takeaways
- Incorporate provided text and wording into each content piece, ensuring brand consistency
- Collaborate to capture the essence of each episode, maintaining a cohesive visual style across all content
- Upload content to social media accounts on Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms
- Develop branding materials for the YouTube channel (logo, banner, thumbnails, etc.), as we are in the process of setting up the account
- Edit newsletters and incorporate lead magnets to help grow the email marketing funnel through Squarespace

Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media content creation and video editing, especially on platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar) and graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
- Strong eye for design, typography, and layout
- Ability to deliver high-quality work on a consistent weekly schedule
- Experience working with podcasts or a strong understanding of social media trends is a plus
- Portfolio showcasing your video editing and social media design skills
- Ability to work 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday, and be available for meetings scheduled between 9am and 12pm UK time.
- Must have an excellent quality internet connection that can accommodate calls on Zoom and ensure quality on VOIP as required.
- Having digital marketing or social media management experience is a plus!

What We Can Offer:
- In addition to your hourly wage, you will receive a 13th Month Bonus.
