JOB OVERVIEW

About Us:
We manage a small but growing portfolio of short-term rental properties and pride ourselves on providing exceptional guest experiences. We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to help manage the day-to-day operations of our short-term rental units.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily management of three short-term rental units, ensuring smooth guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Promptly address guest inquiries and resolve issues to maintain a high level of satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain supply inventories, coordinating with vendors when restocking is needed.
- Manage reservations, including adjustments and calendar updates on platforms like Airbnb and VRBO.
- Use host management tools like Hospitable and Turno to automate processes and streamline communication.
- Create and manage work orders, ensuring timely resolution of property issues by identifying and coordinating with the appropriate service providers.
- Respond quickly and professionally to guest messages, providing exceptional service at all times.
- Follow established SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency in all operations.
- Communicate effectively with the team via Slack and maintain organized records using Google Drive.

Requirements:

- Experience managing short-term rentals on platforms such as Airbnb and VRBO.
- Proficiency in using tools like Hospitable, Turno, Google Docs, and Slack.
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to act decisively in handling guest issues.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of following SOPs accurately.
- Ability to track and log working hours independently.
- Reliable internet connection and availability to respond to guest and team communications promptly.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with property management and guest relations.
- Prior experience coordinating with cleaners, maintenance personnel, or other service providers.
- Knowledge on ChatGPT

Hours:
This is a part-time position to start, with the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and portfolio growth. Flexibility to manage time-sensitive tasks during guest check-ins, check-outs, and emergencies is required.
