JOB OVERVIEW

We are a small, highly efficient team with members in the US, Armenia, Brazil, Pakistan, and Turkey. Our current product, PrintFriendly—a beloved, fifteen-year-old website, Chrome Extension with over one million installs, and WordPress plugin—helps users around the world make their online content print-friendly.

We’re seeking a part-time (5-10 hours per week) Technical Customer Support Specialist to join our team and provide outstanding support to our users. This role involves assisting customers with technical inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing a positive experience through effective communication. The ideal candidate will have experience with WordPress, HTML, and CSS, which will be a huge plus for resolving user issues and providing advanced support, especially for our WordPress plugin users.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to our website, Chrome Extension, and WordPress plugin.
* Provide helpful and friendly guidance to our users, ensuring a positive experience.
* Collaborate with the development team to escalate and resolve more complex issues.
* Create and maintain support documentation to help users self-service common inquiries.

Position Details:

* Part-time: Approximately 5-10 hours per week.
* Must be available to check support tickets five days per week to ensure timely responses.

Key Qualifications:

* Experience in a customer support role, preferably for a web-based product.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, and CSS is a huge plus.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
