JOB OVERVIEW

Important: You will NOT be responsible for ad creative or ad copy creation; this is taken care of by our video editor and copywriter.

ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
(Momentum Marketing is soon rebranding as https://lasikgrowth.com) At Momentum Marketing we've been a lead generation agency for two years and have mastered lead gen for LASIK clinics. We're working on repositioning ourselves as a growth infrastructure company and will take a more comprehensive approach, where we not only offer lead generation, but essentially help LASIK clinics with the entire patient journey from lead gen to review request, and everything in between. This will include AI phone agents, AI chatbots, follow-up systems, appointment reminders, reactivation campaigns, review request campaigns, referral program campaigns, and so on, but lead generation will always be the foundation.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
- Publish ads
- Monitor ad performance daily
- Stop underperformers
- Update budget weekly (we lower budget on Sundays)
- Share results with our clients weekly (analytical)
- Share results with our team weekly (analytical + creative insights + possible suggestions)
-- We're looking for someone who combines analytical thinking with creative thinking and is able to contribute with ideas to our creative strategist, video editor, and copywriter.

AD STRATEGY:
Our strategy is extremely simple, which will make your job a lot easier: We only run a single campaign per location/objective. We run open targeting (only selecting age and location). All of our ads are Lead Gen ads that go to a Facebook Form. We follow the 3:2:2 method which means that each creative test has it's own ad set with "Dynamic Creative" turned on. On the Ad level we have 3 videos, 2 texts, 2 headlines, here's a breakdown:
- 3 videos that are all the same except for the visual hook.
- 2 texts: 1 new and 1 previous winner
- 2 headlines: 1 new and 1 previous winner

On the Campaign level we have "Advantage campaign budget" turned on, meaning that each creative test/ad set competes for spend and the Facebook algorithm ultimately decides which ad set wins.

Overall this makes for a very clutter-free work environment, and will make it easier for you to analyse the ads.

Note: Knowledge about LASIK is not required!

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience with ad platforms: You will be asked about your experience with ad platforms (Facebook, Google, TikTok, Youtube)
- Analytical mindset: Strong ability to analyse ad performance metrics and determine key reasons for creative success or failure.
- Creativity in ad analysis: While you won’t be creating the ads, you should have a good sense of what works and what doesn't to provide feedback to the creative strategist, video editor, or copywriter.
- Effective communicating: You need to be able to communicate results and suggestions in a clear and concise way, so that the team can continue to produce winning ad creatives.

PAY
$300-1500 per month, depending on experience

THE PERSON WHO EXCELLS IN THIS ROLE:
They spend time learning about LASIK and our ideal customer avatar. When reviewing our video ads they watch them as if they were our ideal customer avatar; someone who's tired of wearing glasses or contacts. They learn about human psychology and evergreen marketing fundamentals in order to get a deeper understanding when analysing ads. They incorporate both analytical and creative thinking, as opposed to the average media buyer who is just analytical.

===Average Media Buyer:
1. Just tests a bunch of stuff until something works.
2. Copy and pastes the ad style until performance eventually drops.
3. Then the cycle repeats.

There's one big flaw here; not truly understanding WHY it performed. By continuously becoming better at understanding human psychology, consumer psychology, and evergreen marketing fundamentals, you will be able to understand the deeper reason why an ad performed, and how we can replicate it's success.
