We are looking for a talented and creative *Video & Photo Editor* to join us for an ongoing freelance partnership. You’ll be responsible for creating dynamic, engaging highlight videos and reels for our adventures, as well as selecting and enhancing standout photos that embody the spirit of Desert Island Survival. This role offers the chance to bring incredible survival adventures to life through visually compelling content.

Responsibilities:

Video Editing:
-Create short, energetic reels (15 seconds) for social media platforms that capture the essence of each adventure.
-Develop 1-minute highlight videos for platforms like YouTube, showcasing the best moments from our tours.
-Work with raw footage, music, and voiceovers to create cohesive, high-quality videos that align with our brand tone and aesthetic.
-Collaborate on creative direction and suggest innovative ideas for video storytelling.

Photo Editing:
- Select the top photos from raw image collections provided for each tour.
-Edit and enhance photos to a professional standard, ensuring consistency with our brand style and aesthetic.

Brand Alignment:
-Maintain brand consistency in all visual content.
-Ensure videos and photos reflect the adventurous, raw, and transformative experience of our survival expeditions.

Requirements:
-Proven experience in video editing (social media reels and short highlight videos).
-Strong photo editing skills using tools like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
-Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
-A strong portfolio showcasing your video and photo editing skills, preferably in travel, adventure, or lifestyle content.
-Excellent sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
-Ability to work with provided assets and deadlines, offering creative input when needed.

Bonus Skills:
Experience with adventure/travel content creation.
Knowledge of social media trends and optimization strategies for platforms like Instagram and YouTube.

Project Test Details:
As part of the selection process, you’ll complete a test project, which includes:

-Creating a 15-second social media reel and a 1-minute highlight video from our Indonesia tour footage.
-Selecting and editing the top 10 photos from raw images provided.
